Air pollution certainly plays a role in the occurrence of respiratory problems. There are several ways to maintain lung health when air quality is getting worse.

In recent times, air pollution has increased and caused a decline in air quality. Therefore, we all need to maintain healthy lungs from exposure to pollution and dust in the surrounding environment.

Here are several ways we can maintain lung health:

    Scheduling time for activities outside the home or outside is an important thing that can be done to protect the lungs from exposure to pollution. Reduce activities outside the home when pollution is at its highest level, namely midday to evening.
  3. Pay attention to AC cleanliness
    When using an air conditioner at home, you need to pay attention to its cleanliness to keep the air clean. The cleaning frequency can be done once a month to ensure good air quality.
  4. Maintaining Body Immunity
    Maintaining the body's immunity is a very important thing to do so that the body does not get sick easily. Eat fruit and vegetables that are high in antioxidants to ward off free radicals. In addition, choose foods that contain lots of vitamins C and E.
  5. Sport
    Maintaining lung health can also be done by exercising regularly. Not only the lungs, physical activity can also benefit the heart and even overall body health.
  6. Treating Lung Disease
    People with asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and allergies are advised to undergo regular treatment. This is a way to help protect the lungs and reduce the risk of recurrence.

High air pollution has now reached an unhealthy level and even tends to be dangerous. Therefore, we all need to understand how to prevent pollution from contaminating lung health.
