Female fertility is a factor in a woman's ability to get pregnant and give birth. Therefore, the problem of female fertility is an important matter to be addressed. Female fertility is influenced by various factors, one of which is age. The fertile age of women is in the range of 20 to 35 years and the peak is in the mid-20s.
Recognize fertility problems
Fertility problems are tricky for some women. In order to get the baby, women often struggle to fertilize their uterus. and dr. Caroline Tirtajasa, Sp.OG (K) is always patient and loyal in dealing with women's reproductive problems.
Caroline Tirtajasa, Sp.OG (K), is a Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist, Fertility and Reproductive Hormone Sub Specialist and also a Laparoscopic Surgeon (Minimally Invasive Surgery) who practices at EMC Pulomas Hospital.
His ability in this field makes him often associated with women's infertility problems. For him, the happiest thing is when his patient manages to get pregnant.
Caroline comes from a simple family and loves to learn about disease. Driven by an interest in studying various kinds of diseases and a strong desire to be able to heal sick people, since childhood he has aspired to become a doctor who can devote his knowledge to people in need.
His achievements in the academic field were brilliant. He managed to get the top ranking from elementary to high school. Not only that, when he graduated from the Bachelor of Medicine Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, he won the Cum Laude predicate.
After graduating, he took a Masters in Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist at FKUI-RSCM Jakarta and graduated again with the title of Best Graduate in his class. And when she graduated from S3 Subspecialist Fertility & Reproductive Hormones FKUI-RSCM Jakarta in January 2011, she was named the first female Fertility Consultant in Jakarta from FKUI-RSCM. He also had a diploma education in Laparoscopic Surgery (minimally invasive surgery) at the University of Schleswig - Holstein, Kiel, Germany. Again, he graduated with honors.
There's a reason why this friendly doctor chose the field of Fertility & Reproductive Endocrinology. "I like the knowledge. After all, there were no female fertility consultants in Jakarta at that time."
Caroline, who performed insemination and handled the birth of triplets as a result of the insemination program at EMC Pulomas Hospital, apparently also had twins of different sexes due to heredity. Both children are now almost 7 years old. "My mother's biological sister is an identical twin," said the wife of dr. Martasono this. This doctor whose hobbies are playing the piano, reading books, traveling and watching inspiring films reveals his secret to being able to divide his time between work and family even though he is busy.
"I only practice full time in one hospital at the EMC Hospital. My house is across from the hospital. So in the morning before leaving, I still have time to take the children to school. In the afternoon, the children come home from school, I'm also home. Then, I practice again in the afternoon until seven in the evening. So, I can still teach and supervise children's studies," he added.
"So, my patients can be well cared for, and so can their families," said the doctor who has the principle of always doing his best in everything.
During his time as a doctor, the happiest thing was when his patients got pregnant and gave birth to healthy babies. Especially in the case of triplets born on March 19 2013. And what makes him sad is that the pregnancy attempts were unsuccessful.
It is not uncommon for a doctor who was born on December 22 to face difficulties while carrying out his profession, although in the end they can be overcome.
"Many difficulties are faced, especially for patients aged 40 years and over who want pregnancy. Because at the age of over 40 years, female fertility has begun to decline and the percentage of successful pregnancy programs is also small. However, it is possible that at that age there will be also managed to get pregnant," he concluded.
Controlling fertility problems in women is an important thing to do. If you feel symptoms that indicate fertility problems, you should immediately consult a doctor at the hospital so that they can be treated appropriately. Screening and routine check-ups can also help prevent fertility problems in women.
