Recognized Dermatitis by Knowing its Signs and Symptoms

Dermatitis, commonly known as eczema is a skin disease that can affect all ages. This disease can cause inflammation of the skin which makes the skin dry, swollen, or reddish. Usually, the part of the skin affected by dermatitis will appear very dry, covered in small blisters that can peel, and feel painful when touched. Even though it is not classified as an infectious disease, dermatitis can cause the sufferer to feel uncomfortable and has the potential to cause internal injuries due to the itching sensation that attacks it.

    • The skin feels very itchy
    • The skin swells
  2. Atopic Dermatitis / Eczema
    This type of dermatitis is more commonly known as eczema or eczema. Most of these cases are developing diseases that are recognized in infancy and can continue into adulthood. However, there are several factors that cause this dermatitis, ranging from dry skin, differences in genetic conditions, bacteria, and environment, to a family history of eczema. Usually, this condition will attack the folds in the body and is triggered by an unsanitary environment, bacteria, allergies, or asthma. The rash will ooze and become hard if these areas are scratched or scratched.
    The common symptoms of this type of dermatitis are:

  3. Seborrheic Dermatitis
    This type of dermatitis is a type of inflammation that appears on parts of the body that secrete a lot of oil, such as the scalp, face, upper chest, and back. Caused by the overgrowth of the Malassezia fungus, this dermatitis causes dandruff and yellowish scales in adults and yellowish scales in the head area in babies. Some of the symptoms that can indicate the presence of seborrheic dermatitis are:
    • The appearance of white scales like dandruff
    • There are yellowish scales or crusts that appear on the scalp, ears, face, or other body parts
    • Reddish skin
