On July 21-23 2023, General Kunarto Volleyball Padepokan, Sentul, Bogor, held the first edition of the South East Asia Volleyball League or SEA V League competition. Four countries participated in this foreign competition, namely the hosts Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
The athlete's health and excellent body condition are very important things to consider in improving the athlete's performance in competing in competitions. In pursuing this, PBVSI (All Indonesian Volleyball Association) and BPJS Employment appointed Sentul EMC Hospital as the Official Medical Partner in the South East Asian Volleyball League event.
Meanwhile, dr. GA Kusmiati, MARS FISQua as Director of Sentul EMC Hospital, welcomed this collaboration. According to him, the existence of EMC Sentul Hospital as a service center must bring benefits to the community. This collaboration is a good opportunity for EMC Sentul Hospital to participate in maintaining the health of athletes, namely the Padepokan Volleyball team. One of the volleyball athletes from the Thai team who competed in the SEA V League received treatment using the Intervention Pain Management method by a Traumatology Orthopedic Specialist, Sports Injury Consultant at EMC Sentul Hospital, namely dr. Andi Nusawarta, M.Kes, Sp.OT (K)Sports .
Dolik Yulianto as the Head of the Bogor City Branch of Employment BPJS, explained that there were 61 athletes participating in this Volleyball Padepokan and their safety had been protected. The protection in question is in the form of guarantees for treatment costs in the event of an injury to an athlete while undergoing training with a referral to the Sentul EMC Hospital . Considering that the EMC Sentul Hospital medical facility has superior Sport Clinic services, BPJS Employment recommends Sentul Bogor Hospital in providing accelerated protection for athletes in Bogor City and Regency.
